Junior Achievement (JA) serves children in school, grades K - 12. We are passionate about the future, because of what we know and because of what we believe.

We know that JA gives young people hope, even during these uncertain times when research shows that young people are concerned and anxious about the economic climate. JA shows them a direction for the future. It inspires them to make smart, good choices in their lives. But most of all, it helps them believe in themselves and understand that they are capable of being successful.

We want you to know that, because of your continued investments and support, JA of South Florida grew student outreach to bring the total number of students served in the 2011 school year to 49,500 throughout Broward and South Palm Beach, a 10 percent increase over the prior year. It is an incredible testament to the south Florida business community, committed citizens, and our 5,000+ classroom volunteers that JA of South Florida operates the largest capstone facility in the world, serving the most students in JA BizTown and JA Finance Park.

Junior Achievement's core beliefs are foundational and drive us to reach out to serve as many students as possible. We know that these beliefs are shared by our donors and volunteers who support JA, and allow us to provide our amazing program interventions.
