The next generation is our most important asset for building the future. Yet far too many youth live in poverty, deal with conflict or face obstacles to pursue their goals. Far too many lack the role models and positive influences they need to help them see their possibilities. It is imperative that we equip them with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to lead meaningful lives and contribute to the future of our society and economy.
Thanks to the community supporting JA’s in financial literacy, workforce development and entrepreneurship programs, together we can continue to address:
- Dropout Prevention by increasing student engagement
- Financial Literacy Gap by providing financial education that helps students manage money
- Work Skills Gap by immersing students in real-world experiences to learn and practice essential work skills
- Small Business Failure by teaching young people how to start and run profitable companies
- Workforce Pipeline Shortages by providing work skills training, employment and pre-apprenticeship opportunities
