On October 23, 2009, the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA), along with title sponsors BGT Partners, LivePerson and Omniture, hosted over 300 of South Florida's top marketing leaders on a networking cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway. A portion of the funds raised went to the benefit of Junior Achievement of South Florida, and during the event Taigh White, SFIMA President, and David Clarke, Founder and Managing Partner of BGT Partners, presented a check for $5,000 to Melissa Aiello, President of Junior Achievement of South Florida. SFIMA will also be donating $5,000 of in-kind services to the charity.

"SFIMA's Nautical Networking Event has always been so successful for us, so that when we decided we wanted to give something back we didn't have to look far to find an organization that shared not just our values, but also our passion for education. Junior Achievement was of course that organization," said Taigh White, President of SFIMA.
