Visit to JA Finance Park

For one regular school day middle school students get to apply their newly acquired knowledge to a life-like business environment where they are faced with many of the decisions their parents are faced with on a daily basis. Upon arrival at JA Finance Park, students are issued “Life Situations” when they walk through the door assigning them an annual salary and fictitious family members/dependants they will need to consider while creating their personal budget. Using the knowledge they gained in the classroom students visit each business and gather option sheets to make informed decisions regarding their purchases and financial management.
