Thank you for attending Junior Achievement of South Florida’s Light Up The Night, presented by The Warren Family Foundation, on May 21st. We appreciate the support. It was an incredible evening, raising more than $50,000 for JA programs! Over 150 professionals from Broward and south Palm Beach counties gathered at The Addison in Boca Raton for an evening of networking under the banyan trees.
JA also honored three exemplary entrepreneurs and innovators from Palm Beach County – Michael Daszkal of Daszkal Bolton, Ingrid Fulmer of Coldwell Banker Commercial and Scott Zankl of Excell Auto Group. Guests enjoyed delicious bites, bidding on auction items and the opportunity to meet students from three high schools that participated in the 2018-19 JA Fellows Entrepreneurship Program.
Thanks to Atlantic Technical High School “Pet Emergency Solutions,” Dillard High School “DHSP Enterprises Safe Block” and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School “Pure Serenity” students for showcasing your businesses and proving you are our future consumers, employees, entrepreneurs, and leaders.
Also thanks to the Light Up The Night Committee of Carlos Alvarez of BBVA Compass, Chris Cavanagh of Petri Pest Control Services, James Constantine and Mitch Welin of ComRes, as well as the event sponsors for helping make this event memorable.
“What a great night sharing the Junior Achievement mission and highlighting a few of our student entrepreneurship teams with the south Palm Beach community. Inspiring and preparing them for the future is why we do what we do,” said Laurie Sallarulo, President & CEO.
